There's not much to discuss, but I want to clear a few things up before you decide to call on me.
(a) There is no guranteed fix. It's possible your computer is in a state beyond my capabilities and that you may need to send it back to the manufacturer.
  If I can't fix your machine's main problem, then I won't charge you for my time, but the callout charge and possible travel fees still apply,
  as well as any other fees unrelated to your computer's main problem.
(b) I will not take your computer away from your home. I have no way of moving it to a secure location, and so will not risk the loss or damage of the machine.
  You are thus inviting me into your home, where I will not be held responsible for damanged property.
(c) If you have sensitive or important data, you must back it up before I work on your machine. There is no guarantee that some or all of your data will
  not be lost during the repair, accidentally or intentionally. I will not be held responsible for lost files.
(d) Things like virus checks and defragmentation can take a considerable amount of time. Bear in mind I charge from £1.50 per hour, but will not be able to
  give an estimate on the length of the scans. As OS reinstalls can possibly take the longest, they are exempt from hourly rates.
